It's that time again... time for another Land of Nod Giveaway! It's no secret that I LOVE The Land of Nod. I am a contributor to their Blog, which is an amazing collaboration of creative and inspiring moms. I had the chance again to choose a toy (or two) to try out and more importantly... to give away! This year they went above and beyond the call of duty and let me pick anything- which was harder than the SATs.
A funny thing happens when you become a mom... the happiness of your kids is worth ten times your own. So imagine my excitement when I tried to pick a toy to test out and give away. I finally decided on these - the "In the Market Shopping Cart" and the "Your Total Is Cash Register". I had a theme going on and it's foreshadowing a big Christmas gift to come :)
We set up a little Market to "test" out our new toys. I told the boys that the North Pole picks out special kids to test toys. That we have to take pictures and give our opinions and then I told them I would email Santa with the results. They took the job very seriously. Welcome to our Market or as Finn calls it
"Cin-ter-al Market".
"I'll take some bananas"
The boys are madly in love with the
shopping cart. And to be honest, I wish we had this kind of construction at our grown up grocery store. Its super sturdy, and the kids are already arguing over - that's always a good sign :)
"Ok sir, that will be $34.19."
"Wait! Don't help me! I'm almost two so clearly I know everything."
"DING!" (yes the
register actually dings, so cute)
"Cha-ching"
Seems about right... a monkey in the cart and a bunch of groceries.
So who wants to win BOTH of these toys from The Land of Nod and make someone really happy?!
The winner will be announced next week, Good Luck!
Congrats to Winner: Aimee Friedrichsen - Giveaway is now Closed
